What are the symptoms of tinnitus?
To understand tinnitus, it can help to understand the symptoms of ringing in the ears as this condition is subjective and people can experience different types of noises.
While the sounds that are heard with tinnitus are commonly called ringing in the ear, there are actually different types of sounds you may experience such as:
• Buzzing
• Hissing
• Whistling
• Roaring
• Rushing

Causes of ringing in the ear

When one is subjected to stress for long periods of time, extremely loud bouts of ear ringing are often experienced. This is because an important part of the brain (the hypothalamus) stops producing some essential trace elements which your body needs to function normally.
Stress is the second most common cause of ear ringing and this is only one of the side effects that can come from severe or repeated stress.
• Tinnitus from sinus - 5% of tinnitus cases.

I wanted to tell you about my success story with the tinnitus. As you know I am a professional musician and have been playing various instruments since the age of nine.
The constant ringing in ear started after a bad motor accident in which I received a severe blow to my head and was in a coma for 2 days. When I woke up my ears were ringing excruciatingly and just stayed with me from then on.
